my friend andrea sent me a link to a place that looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g. it's called the urban craft center, the center offers an amazing array of classes and you can rent studio space to get your crafting done. t.u.c.c. is located on main street in santa monica and is under 20 minutes from my work and just a few minutes from campus. hopefully, i can check it out soon!
in other news, i'm beat! between work and school and the gym, i'm worn down.
maybe in a good way? my weeknight going out routine has definitely been put on hold.

a beautiful view from a rooftop garden on a clear day...
just before i was ready to leave work yesterday my dear friend robin called. he, along with my best friend laura and new friend nick were driving up to la to take advantage of LACMA's free after 5pm offer. we all met up at the street lamp installation and headed to the BCAM building. sadly, the entire second floor of BCAM was closed for a new installation, so we wandered to the ahmanson building. there was a beautiful black and white photography exhibit full of pieces i've only seen in textbooks. also, there was a room devoted to one persons collection of images of saint fabiola, the collection has more than 300 pieces and is really worth visiting. i need to visit again soon to see the vanity fair show!
